The Racket

 The Racket newer version which is a take off from Smedley Butler- Matt Kennard wrote this- In the beginning there is a quote from the original book-  I might have given Al Capone a few hints- The best he could do was to operate on three districts- I operated on three continents- Major General Smedley Butler- highest decorated Marine in US history speech in 1933-

 So why did we really invade Iraq it was to fight the bad guys right to make sure they didn't come to America - Kill them over there so they don't come over here does that make any sense- Anyway a senior executive of a Japanese investment bank told Kennard when he was working for the Financial Times- off record we went to secure 3000 barrels of oil a day- But that's not what they told us it wasn't supposed to be a resource war-

We really did get oil why cant we just get the straight story- It wasn't WMDs Bin Laden oh ya Saddam Hussein who America was good buddies with at some point years earlier- We have many gravely wounded soldiers and contractors as a result of that shit show and that doesn't include the quagmire of Afghanistan- There were FOBs in Afghanistan that kept getting hit and our soldiers killed and eventually they said that FOB has no strategic military relevance- Meaning it was high risk but still didn't accomplish anything-

They are still conning young men with propaganda the same way Ronny Kovik got swindled-  It was an easy sell to invade both Iraq and Afghanistan because we were all seeing red after getting hit on 9-11-
